Hi! My name is Emma, and I’m so excited to work with you on your path to emotional growth!
I am a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate (LCSWA) with both my Master and Bachelor's in Social Work from NC State. Go Pack!!
Through my experience working with youth facing behavioral, emotional, and academic concerns, I’ve developed a passion for creating a safe space where youth can comfortably express their feelings while working together towards increasing emotional awareness, self-regulation, coping skills, and resiliency to face life’s challenges. Using strengths-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive approaches, I lead with empathy and compassion to empower youth to understand and work through their own emotions and challenges, with plenty of appropriate fun along the way! I believe therapy and emotional growth can look so many different ways, and I strive to tailor my work to each client's unique experiences and needs.
Outside of work, I love to hang out with my family and friends, do arts and crafts, read, and snuggle up with my cat, Girl.
