My name is Shelby and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate in the State of NC. I received my Bachelor of Science in Management in Health Services with a minor in Human Development at Carlow University in Pittsburgh. I received my Masters in Social Work from North Carolina Central University.

I have a passion for helping individuals triumph over trauma, to learn mindfulness-based practices to reduce stress and manage anxiety, improve self worth and self esteem, understand the relationship among our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and to navigate every day stressors and challenges. I have experience in working in community-based settings with adults, aging population, veterans, and those with serious mental illness.
