Education- Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
Licenses - Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate

As a trauma and abuse survivor, I am also a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care. Rooted in Christian values, I integrate clinical expertise with faith-based principles, when desired, to create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore challenges, develop coping techniques, and strengthen relationships. My specialties include anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, OCD, family dynamics, and identity development. I utilize evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Eco-Systemic Family Therapy, crisis prevention, play therapy, art therapy, and motivational interviewing.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts from Bluefield University and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. I’ve been able to utilize both of my degrees for a more collaborative and creative approach to mental health recovery. With over seven years of experience, I have worked with children (ages 5+), individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, teenagers, adults, LGBTQ+ individuals, and families from diverse backgrounds.

My goal is to provide a personalized, person-centered approach to healing. Whether you are seeking to strengthen your faith, navigate life transitions, or improve your mental health, I am committed to walking alongside you with empathy and unwavering support.

In my spare time, I enjoy tending to my "indoor jungle" of houseplants, reading, crafting, and knitting. While I prefer salty snacks over sweets, I love baking for others. I also enjoy summer weather, visiting the dog park, and spending time with my Great Pyrenees mix, Maisie. As a recent North Carolina resident, my favorite way to spend free time is visiting my large, blended family in Virginia.
