Marvin McMillar is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA). He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from North Carolina Central University (NCCU) and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the same institution.

I have significant experience in providing social work and mental health services to a diverse range of individuals. His specialization lies in working with children and adolescents, where he leverages his background as a former school social worker to help children cope with a wide array of emotional challenges. These include but are not limited to self-esteem issues, anxiety, LGBTQA-related concerns, as well as addressing parent-child relationships and bullying. I possesses extensive experience in providing support to both families and adults by effectively addressing family-related challenges, as well as facilitating the process of repairing and strengthening relationships.

I have tailored my therapeutic approach to meet each individual's specific needs by utilizing a variety of therapeutic models. He primarily employed the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) model, which is centered on modifying unhelpful or unhealthy thoughts and behaviors to promote positive change.
