Marquise Mazyck-Wright, MSW, LCSWA - Therapist

Education- MSW Social Work
Licenses - Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate

Originally from Jersey City, New Jersey, Marquise obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Bridgeport and Master of Social Work from Walden University. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate, Marquise has provided services to clients through in-person and virtual settings.

Thus far, he has worked both closely and collaboratively with adolescents, teenagers, and adults as they learn to understand the ways in which their previous and current traumas contribute to their reactions and mental and emotional state. In many ways, the goal is to help clients discover new coping mechanisms and make positive changes with their unhealthy thinking patterns. With the usage of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), he has assisted clients struggling with anxiety, grief, depression, and trauma-related issues. Marquise believes in the importance of meeting the client where they are, while empowering them to work through their traumas.

Being vulnerable is not easy, and coming to therapy can be a challenging and frightening experience for some. Because of this, Marquise believes in providing a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to express themselves in the most authentic way possible. Marquise has also worked with clients who are people of color and/or are members of the LGBTQIA+ community..
