Hi there! My name is Latrisha and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA). My motto is “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” ~ Phillipians 4:13 NKJV. My passion is working with children, teens and families. I have over 20 years of experience working with DSS involved youth and families from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

I work from a collaborative, strengths-based approach; assisting and supporting others to be the author of their own lives. I believe that we are the true expert in our own life and sometimes we need a guide or mentor to assist us along the way. I also believe that the therapeutic relationship should be one of authenticity, collaboration and one that feels safe and supportive.

My focus is on a person’s strength and resilience while striving to help find tools to cope with life’s stressors. With the necessary tools and skills at our disposal it is easier to prepare for oncoming stressors and challenges. My office is a safe, welcoming and judgment-free space for all who wish to enter.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our boys. I also enjoy giving back to my community through engaging in church related and Sorority sponsored activities.
