Hi, I’m Kailey! I’m a therapist with over 12 years of experience in social work, and I’m passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges with strength, hope, and a little humor when it’s needed most. I specialize in working with adults, particularly those impacted by interpersonal violence, including human trafficking and domestic violence.

Most of my career has been spent in the non-profit world, where I’ve not only supported clients directly but also provided supervision, training, and consultation around trauma-informed, victim-centered care—especially related to human trafficking. I love equipping others (both clients and professionals) with practical tools to face life head-on.

I earned my BS in Psychology from Gardner-Webb University and my MSW from Winthrop University. Outside the therapy room, I’m married and a proud mom of six in a beautifully blended family—so I definitely understand the chaos and joy that come with real life! I believe our stories matter, that healing is possible, and that sometimes we all just need someone in our corner to remind us of our own strength.

Although I’m new to private practice, mental health work is far from new to me—and I’m thrilled to be bringing my experience and heart to Anew U Counseling Services.
